Biography

Dr. Izaskun Larrieta-Rubín de Celis has been lecturer at the University of the Basque Country (Spain) since 2009. Prior to this, she had worked as managing director for 17 years in a SME involved in technology innovation and software development. Her primary research interests deal with CSR and gender equality. She has defended her doctoral thesis on ‘The Management of Gendered Social Responsibility: the establishment of a framework and the implementation in companies committed to gender equality’. She has been involved in a project financed by the Spanish Ministry of Equality researching good gender practices in most gender committed Spanish companies. She has published on Gendered Social Responsibility and has proven commitment to interdisciplinary research linking CSR, gender studies, health and safety issues and corporate governance.

Her research interest includes Occupational Toxicology and Health, CSR, gender issues in workplace
